Bespoke Book Works was an exhibition of traditional and innovative book structures with modern design.

Margaret Scott and Helen Best, the exhibiton organisers, put together a wide selection of contemporary and traditional bindings showing an extrordinary range of binding techniques in use by professional bookbinders and artists who make books.

Bookbinding Exhibitions Australia Inc was a national organisation dedicated to promoting bookbinding as an art form. Between 2003 and 2008 BEA organised eleven exhibitions of contemporary binding, artists books and significant historical bindings.
